Well, I would not presume to force you into a marriage. Though if there were those of your family you desired to bring with you, I would of course welcome them as well. Provided there was none of that silly 'attempt to overthrow the royals' business. Even if you did cause my downfall and that of House Maresh, there are other branches of the Royal line that would have authority well before the Ostra would have a chance to grab at it.

Let's see... Yes, if memory serves there are no Ostra that use a rose as their sigil even, so I wouldn't have to deal with the fuss that would raise.

I appreciate that - you would be the only one not trying to force me into a marriage. The trick, for my grandmother at least, is arranging the right marriage.

I fear they would not come with me. We are not royalty but we are still nobility, and have been for many generations.

I understand, and am beyond grateful. It would be hard to convince my family to leave a land where they have a legacy and the family name is respected to a strange place where nobody knows us. We'd be starting over.
